Yankee Democracy

This film was created by Dan Weir and Ian Lawrence. It was done in the Fall of 2006 as an assignment for Film II, Communication Studies at Concordia University. The project was to look through an archive of 16mm found footage, create an original soundtrack, and to edit the film and magnetic audio tape together on a Steenbeck flatbed editing table. The purpose of the project was to tell a story based on footage taken from a variety of different sources. Most of the footage was taken from National Film Board documentaries.
