Once again,I revisit my motherland. The memories it awakens gives me great joy and happiness. The beautiful green trees and bushes that I used to play around still remain standing. The sound of their leaves in the wind like nature's melody welcoming me back home. Sadly, some loved ones who had bid me goodbye are no longer here to see me return. Emotion and a tearful reunion welcomed me. Parting again and saying goodbye is such a torment. I will never forget my Hainan Island. Let me dedicate this song to those who have left their homeland.

athough i speak hainan, i cant really understand what the song is about. sounds so different to my. my grandparents left hainan during the japanese occupation n never have had the chance to return there.
