Minecraft - Tutorial: Greenhouse

This video tutorial teaches you how to build a 15x15 Greenhouse structure which is used to convert bone meal into flowers and seeds.

A main problem with trying to grow and harvest flowers and tall grass is the time wasted walking around planting them and picking them up. My greenhouse design allows you to grow them in a large surface area without having to move around placing bone meal. Best of all, the water used to automatically harvest them doubles in function by also delivering the item drops to you.

This greenhouse design maximizes on your player's reach distance and also the spread distance of the tall grass & flower patches.

Look up the SMERF by 777static777. It's a much more efficient version of this.

@satan130 grass will die in a perfectly dark room though, i guess you could set up some kind of piston design sun lights or even just some crude dirt ones you can smash away though, nice idea :)

i just did this, but used it to farm wheat instead. few more steps & a few mods but it works great!
