Wooly Mammoth Parking Lot at Interstate 70 west of Denver, Colorado

The Wooly Mammoth parking lot is part of the Hogback Jurassic Park and Ride site alongside Interstate 70 just west of Denver.

A lot of people meet at these lots to carpool for skiing, hiking, and climbing in the mountains west of Denver. It's a good thing they do, too, since Interstate 70 is always jammed with traffic. And, of course, if we all used individual vehicles there'd be that much more pollution and fuel waste!
