For all you fatheads out there. The quality (and sync) is better and the clip is a bit longer.

    Excelsior!!

I'm a kid see, and its nine o clock. I get into bed, turn the radio to WOR, its as low as it can go and still be heard and my ear is right next to the tiny speaker. Then those first notes come on of that Edwuard Strauss march, and I knew that all was right with the world.

Shep, besides his films "A Christmas Story" and "The Fourth of July" he also made one about his Senior Prom. Its a equally terrific Shep creation. I hope that it exists some where, I don't see it posted anywhere here on YouTube,

Saw Shep twice on his annual appearance at Princeton Univ and once at Middlesex County College in '72. At Middlesex after the show I walked with him out to his car in the student parking lot. Yes, Shep drove himself and his car looked like the rundown little car that Columbo would drive. There is the dark I asked him several questions and one about his childhood friends Flick, Schwartz, Bolus. I was disappointed when he said "they didn't exist..just characters he created of typical friends"
