I totally agree about enjoying your outdoor space. When it is a nice day, I eat, have a glass of wine, entertain, and work on the balcony. It is one of my favorite places in my apartment.

A couple notes: Make sure you know your landlord's policies on painting and changing light fixtures!! If you've never changed a light fixture be sure to find a great tutorial or hire a pro.
