Thunderbolt Waterslide Sled on Ice and Snow !! / POV

Always wondered what one of these sleds would be like on snow... today I found out. :)
Because of the three teflon runners on the bottom of the sled which are there to allow it to slide easily down a metal waterslide, it is crazy fast on snow and ice!!

lol how did you manage to steal that? lol do you work there or something? or were they getting rid of some and let you have one?

@Flightkid9 I will only say that I don't work there... and any of the Thunderbolt sleds they get rid of are because they are beaten beyond being usable. ;)

Holy Cow! We bought a toboggan like that that had a plastic type bottom, and it was CRAZY fast. Was it the same speed as you get on the actual ride?

@coolbob9939 Seemed to be faster than the waterslide (I was just on it a few weeks ago), the Thunderbolt slide is about 30 feet high, but since you skip across the water, which creates drag, you come to a stop within 70 feet. In this case, the slope at the side of the overpass is even higher, maybe 40 to 50 feet, the snow surface was very icy, so the sled was very quick and travels about 300 feet. On the second run, when I reached the bottom of the slope, the speed was enough to blow my hat off.
