Look, the fact remains. We are all inspired by others, we copy, we emulate therefore it shouldn't be shocking that LD was inspired by others.

See the thing is,sure lots of artists rip off and cover songs, but Zeppelin never credited the original artists. They always credited themselves as the writers. Cocksmokers.
-
Meanwhile in the real world, most people continue to enjoy the music Led Zeppelin performed regardless of who owns the copyright.
Ever heard the original 1920's version of Levee Breaks? Yikes.

Well considering everyones dog has heard of Led Zeppelin and nboody knows who the fuck Taurus are, they did a mighty fine job for a bunch of copycats.
-
I don't care because Zeppelin's versions are much better than the original ones.

Ian Anderson and Stevie Marriott both interviewed said everybody was doing it at that time, and it was "open season" on the old bluesmen . Lets give them a little credit for say The Rain Song Ten Years Gone Black Country Woman Achilles Last Stand Hey Hey what can i do Bring it on home Black Dog Since ive been loving you The Ocean No Quarter In The Evening Kashmir (every fuckers had a go at that!) Misty Mountain Hop Ramble On And countless more that continue to amaze 40 yrs on.

@mindyourbeezwax What makes you say that?

I am amazed how peoples love for Zep let their emotions speak instead of their brains ! Of course Zep pulled off some ripoffs, as most every artist does to varying degrees. Copy write protection depends on how much money you have for legal teams and how much your willing to spend to protect what is yours.Fact is...the money does run out !

This is why Pink Floyd is better
Why was the audio cut off for this. It is perfectly legal to use clips of copyrighted material for a documentary.

Someone said that Page has photographic memory. If so I think he ran out of film a long time ago.
