Ok, an oldie but a goodie! This is one of my favorite songs from their past album American Idiot, Green Day's infamous WMUWSE (Wake Me Up When September Ends).
I love the fact that this song was originally composed by Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals, frontman) to revisit those sad and traumatizing September days in which his father died of esophageal cancer when he was only 10 years old, which can be read/listened in "as my father's come to pass, 20 years has gone so fast. Wake me up when september ends".
This was an event that he hasn't, I quote: "...really ever truly recovered. I can't believe 20 years have passed since that September day, in wich I lost my innocence".
Thise can be read/listened in "As my memory rests, but never forgets what I lost"
Awww!! right!?
anyway...
...I digress. He decided to make the video a protest to the current Irak war which caused a shock to all the American people at the time, thinking that it would be more productive than making the video from the original topic.
Here's a link where you can find more info about the song and music video:

Though not all information was collected from that single link, but from many sources, yet, you will find the basics there.
Hope you enjoy the vid!
@Bemonres I understand what you are saying, and I agree. But I was in the Army and the people over there do not want us to leave. The only people that want us to leave are the Taliban. They are like a big street gang, and we are helping the people over there get rid of that street gang or at least stand up to them. Sometimes you have to fight to keep the peace. It sounds stupid I know, but that is the world we live in. The U.S.A. did not start this war, but we will finish it.
