I Totally agree with porcupine07. I love all your vids, I'm also a learner, I'm from England been playing nearly 3 yrs got vids under name (thesneeze1) if you got time have a look latest vid is cripple creek at the wiviliscome beer festival uk standing in for another bands banjo player, any advice greatfully recieved, working on janet davis back up now, you guys are awesome a real inspiration!!!!

Dave Asti is a phenomenal banjo player and has been a huge inspiration to me ever since I first heard him, and the Gypsies. I only wish I could take some lessons from him!

Hey DrumHeroDK.. I believe that the song he is playing is called "Foggy Mountain Top". A great song! However to answer the rest of yer question... I think that everything that this guy plays on the banjo has some kind of improvisational twist on it! He's AWESOME!!

Dave Asti is an inspiration. I hope to be half the player that he is someday. I just started out on banjo, but hopwfully with hard workand time I will one day have a bluegrass band of my own. Thanks Dave and gypsies for the inspiration.
