  • Also the doors and windows are closed so you will leave a line where the frame overlaps. I have my own techniques but would love to see more videos to improve my game. Good video

  • the only doors that open are the center ones and if you notice one was taken out to run the temporary air conditioner unit the other is covered i like to hand brush the doors and windows when ever possible to avoid the lines

  • Irish sprayer here what are enamels?

  • a paint that flows out to a smooth coat when applied and that dries with a glossy appearance can be water base or oil base

  • Are you using enamels? If there are no sags or sheen fluctuations I would be impressed.

  • no im spraying a laquer undercoat primer over unfinished wood then i will sand the wood smooth then spray first coat of enamel then sand and spray the last coat

  • no masking on the walls? did you not spray the walls first? Decent technique, but how many runs did you have to sand? (starting stopping in middle of the jam, hittin some things five times...)

  • if you knew what the hell you were talking about you would know that you cant brush a xylene based primers no matter how skilled you think you are they are high build primers are designed to be sprayed, if you happen to get a run ( which is unlikely because they dry so fast ) they sand out easily..

  • Thats a pretty big tip.. I use a 2:11 if I am in oils it cuts down on all that over spray. Also, get rid of that four finger spray tech and get a two finger gun.

How you enjoying that high build primer?.. nice to sand isnt it?

  • Hey pal, If you are skilled with the brush, you wont have to sand runs and drips. Also you don't need to spend all that time taping the crap out of everything. Then you don't need to deal with the sprayer throwing uneven layers and eating up way too much paint. Sorry I have worked with sprayers before and nothing but trouble. Look at that ladder its covered with paint. Wtith skill and the brush you can leave the space clean intact and not have to wear that respirator all day.

  • it'd take you a lot longer to brush and cut all of that in. Don't lie. Spraying is the way to go, but if you perfer to spend twice the time brushing all those window frames/sills be my guest. You'd spend even more time sanding away your brush strokes or any imperfections you might've achieved while brushing.
