Formed in 1982, W.A.S.P. was an American Heavy Metal Band, that gained infamy for their outrageous stage theatrics influenced by KISS and Alice Cooper that caused controversy among parents with their shock rock image and lyrics. Recorded in 1987, in L.A.'s Long Beach Arena, Live in Raw is a testament to their brand of Brash, high-wire heavy metal. The band at this era consisted of,
Blackie Lawless (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar)
Chris Holmes (Lead Guitar)
Johnny Rod (Bass)
Steve Riley (Drums)

  • WASP (although I never saw in concert) sounds to me like one of those bands that sounds better live than studio. I always thought that Accept sounded better live too. I saw them with Judas Priest in 1984 or 85 and both bands were great.

  • @sataniswithu - written by Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson and Jo Armstead, and first recorded by Ray Charles in 1966. WASP perfected it. usually WASP doesn't perfect anything but this is the exception that proves the rule.

  • @boozygrogy Well you have good taste in metal eventhough this is a song written before metal was around....I think. Humble Pie plays it too.

  • @sataniswithu - agreed

  • enorme ce groupe j'adore :))
