A surf short about some of the extraordinary days and waves I was lucky to experience in December 2008. Did take way longer than planned to finish this one (as usual ;*)), but now it is is right on time as an incentive for the next winter surf season in lovely Portugal. Live in Italy but I surf Portugal everytime I can. Last December spent three weeks there, this year I'll be able to repeat just in April. Can't wait, Portugal is so beautiful!

Yeah, Portugal is really something else - somewhat like the european version of california with less of the downsides of california ;). Wouldn't mind staying there most of the year. So far I'm still leashed to Germany workwise, so I have to surf small seas most of the year, looking forward to some real Atlantic ground swell on my vacations. April is a nice time down there, too!

No, never surferd here.

I'm living in Turin and it's not worth spending lots of time, renting boards and so on, just to surf crappy waves (even thou sometimes it's really good).

Fortunately got a Portuguese mother and family down there so I can't wait to get back.
