My brother and I went to Fort Riley today and picked up my two new to me deuces. They run great!

  • @MotleyCrewCab The sand truck had a cut wiring harness to the right front. They had also cut the fuel line between the primary filter and the fuel booster pump, the metal line was crushed, folded, and cut. Along with that, the primary filter housing was badly dented and the center bolt bent, fork lift damage I am sure. The left fender brace is mangled from fork lift abuse. Still, minor repairs for trucks that have not run since 1992. We had diesel fuel and coolant spraying everywhere!

  • @MotleyCrewCab You can drive them off. Get a one trip tag or a dealer tag if you can. The most important thing is insurance. I would caution you against buying one blind and expecting it to run. They almost all need batteries or some kind of repair to run down the road. I was towing the green one because it had no brakes. Fluid runs out the nose of the master cylinder. I have it fixed now though, it needs a right rear axle seal, that kind of repairs are to be expected.

  • Nice truck. If you buy one and go to pick it up. Are you able to drive it off the lot. Or do you have to trailer or tow it.
