This video was taken when Ben was feeding off someone's 'angry voice' at the Koka Booth ampitheatre in Cary, NC. Great impression of bands who do that every show, but that was a first for me seeing Ben do it, and I've been to a ton of shows! Keep watching...after the piano gets fixed his dad comes out on stage.

  • I saw BFF many times but hands down best show was 1995@ The Met Cafe in RI. They were unknown and I was hanging with the band at the bar before the gig. It was pretty empty when they started. After the first song ended (Jackson Cannery) it was so crowded from people on the street coming in to see WHO was making that sound I had to sit ON the bar. No band had more energy than they did then and the guts to do a Hendrix tune with no guitar and totally own it. I truly loved the 5.

  • @cranie4 that is a GREAT story! i sadly did not discover ben folds until 2005... and he completely changed my life in a lot of ways. it must have been amazing to hang with them at the bar. hahahah but in 1995 i was no where old enough to be at a bar anyway! :D
