Christopher Stone (1882 - 1965) has the distinction of being the first BBC disc -jockey from 1927 until his sensational move to Radio Luxembourg in 1934.
Stone was the editor of 'The Gramophone' magazine and had a personal collection of some 12,000 records by the mid thirties.
This record showcasing DECCA artists was made when Stone was presenting the 'Decca Hour' radio programme c. 1935.
