WRONG.
2004-2005 CTS-V's have a 5.7L LS6 rated at 400hp. There was never a LS1 in a CTS-V. Different heads, manifold and cam.
The transmission is a Tremec T56 6 speed from a camaro, and the differentail is from a solstice/regular CTS.
2006-2007 CTS-V have a 6.0L LS2
The new supercharged CTS-V has a 6.2L engine called LSA, not LS9 from the ZR1. It has a different supercharger and cam and valvetrain.

If they were the same year vette and GTO maybe, but these have completely different engines. The GTO has an LS1 and the C4 Corvette has an LT1.

@toejambfutbol good point but if its a 2006 gto it has a LS2. and i forgot it was a c4 somenewer one3s have the LS series

Try reading. In the title it says it's an '04 GTO and a C4 Vette. Plus an LS2 GTO has dual exhaust and hood scoops, and a C5 is a completely different body style. I have one of those too.
