Reminds me of several times during EUIII, one of my allies would always troll on in and capture a key province that I wanted or needed, and a lot of the time that would also stop me from annexing said nation.

Ok that is indeed a load of bullshit. The one who sieges FIRST should always be the one who gets the freaking city. This is just like kill stealing only worse. Bad design choice right there. Nice vid tho heir! :)

Pikes and Shot: Pikes for defense and Shot for offense. Also, yeah, it's the attacker that get's the region. Sux. Made me attack many many times before I was ready. BUT, am able to sneak a region or two away from allies every now and then. This effect negates the entended siege technique unfortunately.

@bh5496 They have two formations, a static 'phalanx' and a square. Very effective v cav and bayonet charges.
