Daniel should have been saved, not Lewis. Lewis was awful singing the song from Les Miserables.

Daniel is fantastic and I absolutely love him here and his music, but he wasn't right for the role of Joseph. John Barrowman talks about it in his book that he thought Daniel was too mature for the role.

@uncleangus the premise of the show was to reinvent Joseph, as ALW said at the very beginning of the show... somebody different... unfortunately, Lee wasn't very different... but it is all about the look... why put it up for the people to vote, if ALW is just gonna do it all himself... either way, they both have wonderful careers now, and though I don't like the outcome of this show, I still think it all worked out for the better...

The person crying is Lewis and i believe if i remember right he was in the singoff with Daniel. Its an emotional time for them all as its the time of make or break for them. Lewis came so close to having his dream smashed and loosing out on the career of a lifetime. Watch some of the other videos to see more of the competition.
