Yeah, we were in Curacao last month and saw them like this too. I wonder what is causing them to come in in such great numbers?

They feed on plankton, and they are actually not jellyfish, but related to vertebrates which actually's related to humans, though distant. They normally dwell in deep temperate oceans, but tend to go where plankton is plenty.
