  • Stanley, it is known that hands-free devices are just as dangerous as cellphones. It is the distraction of the conversation that causes the accidents associated with cellphones.

    google. com/search?q=iihs+hands+free+cellphone

    iihs. org/research/qanda/cellphones. aspx

    "Are hands-free cellphones safer?

No [...] Both studies of crashes using cellphone billing records to verify phone use found about a fourfold increase in crash risk with conversing on both hands-free and hand-held phones."

  • This may be so, but driving while talking on your cell phone is not illegal, Driving without a hads free device is.

  • what if i have a red tooth instead? jk

  • A 19 year-old girl hit a mother and her 2 year-old daughter cause she was too busy talking on her cellphone as she drove. The 2 year-old was killed on the spot.

So talking on the cellphone while driving is harmless and "the police shouldn't harrass innocent people"?

  • Stupid law. Can I just tape my phone to my ear? That's hands free. I always forget my bluetooth.

  • Studies show drivers are just as distracted using hand free as holding a phone.

  • "Well!!!," You got caught now. I love it when police enforce the handsfree LAW! Many drivers just don't get it, and who gives a shit about hands free cell phone make it safer. Two hands on the steering wheel is much better than one. Drivers always act stupid, I dont know, etc etc.

  • Ouch! With the cost of that ticket, I'd be using a hands-free device while driving.

  • I gave my brother my blue tooth. Someone buy me one now.

    :p
