@AuditoryEden this "funny thing" we call an accent. uhm, okay? Its fine, continue thinking you know what you think there is to know about singing a song. I forgot only people born in the great US of A are the only individuals who know how to sing without an accent. FYI you might want to look up an interview video of Josefina and you'll realize she barely speaks english at all. you'll also realize the roles she played on broadway back home in her language.

Visually the most perfect Tony and Maria ever. I am sorry ... is she a bit pitchy in places? Is he a bit "tenor-tinny"? Maybe it is just me? Love the show... want it to capture everyone's heart as it does mine. Bring it back again and again- and I am not even French!

@xelementaIx Have you ever heard Jose Careras sing West Side Story. Clearly he can read sheet music in English, clearly he is not American, and he has this funny thing we call an accent. She doesn't, in a way that is really, really hard to manufacture. So I'm doubtful for perfectly reasonable reasons.
