This and the "E E...see me" are a couple of the earliest S.S. cartoons I can remember. I even learned all the words to this song back in 1986 (lol). I am re-posting this video because I have increased the volume. As many of you have found out, the volume on most of my classic Sesame Street posts are poor. In poor, I mean LOW! I bought a mixer to increase the volume. I will be re-posting many skits because of this.

  • This video and E Imagination are two of the most memorable Sesame Street clips for me, thank you for posting these.

  • YES! Those animations were also two of my favorites as a kid in the 70's. Looking at them now, they seem kinda... trippy and wild, almost too "out there" to be broadcast today. But when I was a kid, they really transported me to a place of pure imagination and wonder. I love it!

  • I had trouble understanding all the lyrics to this as a little kid. It's amazing how much clearer the words sound now that I'm grown up and have a better command of the English language. I think the problem is that there are so many words with O's in them that sound similar and the speech is somewhat muffled by the music, so it's not as clear as it could be. But if fascinates me because I understand it now.

  • For some strange reason, doesn't this Cartoon remind you of Yellow Submarine with The Beatles. It's kind of Psychedelic.

  • @hoffenpot NIce combo!!

  • @thornmallow1 Uh-oh!

  • "O-K? Ooooooooohhh" ♪♫♪♫

    Pure genuis!!

  • I recall trying to eat soap to this one

  • This always had a wistful quality to me that haunted my soul. I never thought I'd see it again. What about Wanda the Witch, though?! Hmmmm? Well?

  • Jennyrcobs, I bet you can work your hate into anything you come across. Way to ruin a sweet video with your personal failings!
