3 Heart Quest Part 4 - Getting the Moon Pearl

Here's a walkthrough for beating The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the GBA with ONLY THREE HEARTS. Keep in mind that all of this IS POSSIBLE on the GBA.

Now we're rolling! In Part 4, we'll glitch into the Mountain Palace (using the Up Down Exploration Glitch) and get the Moon Pearl! Red Shifter's directions for reaching the Mountain Palace doesn't work for me (if it works for you, go for it!), so here's the way I go to get this dungeon:

1) Move left until screen scrolls 5 times. You should see a door that needs
the Big Key.
2) Move up until the screen scrolls once.
3) Move left until the screen scrolls twice.
4) Move down until the screen scrolls thrice. You should now be able to see
Link.
5) Slowly move left until the screen MOVES. Once the screen moves slightly to
the left, stop moving.
6) Move up until the screen scrolls. You should see Link in the southern wall
of this room, in the part of the wall inside the blue blocks, so you can reach
the entrance. If not, scroll back down and try to position Link in the correct
spot.

Like before, don't defeat the boss of the dungeon.

now i am having trouble with the mirror jump EG

This EG isn't as painful as the UDEG. Just try to time the Mirror just as Link begins to jump. You'll get it eventually.

I can confirm that the UDEG is possible on the GBA, but it's a little difficult to perform. Just keep pressing up and down simultaneously, and you'll eventually get it.

I'm a bit of a beginner.

I can swim, lift, run and have the moon pearl.

But i don't know how to get across the broken bridge/ getting the hook shot. Getting the hammer and all that mumbo jumbo about the swamp palace and stuff.

So if you could help me out and explain it, that would be great!
