Actually, the Venti on the cold drinks is 24 ounces. It's 20 ounces for the hot drinks. And the names are what they are because originally, there was Short and Tall. Tall was the size it is now. Short was smaller. Then, there was demand to add a bigger size, and we got Grande. And that made sense. Short, or Tall if you want a bit more, and if that's still not enough, go Grande. But then, people said, "wait, we still need more!" Thus, the Venti. And the Short was discontinued, so Tall = Small.

Those sices are realy outrageus (that how you spell it? haha) Glad in germany we dont have supersizes yet but im sure as soon I post this McDonalds in germany will get a stupid idea!
