This is the second of several extracts from my redubbed version of this classic film. As if afraid that we'd be unable to hear the words, the producers pushed the backing music so far down in the mix that it is at times almost inaudible. I have replaced the worst-affected parts of the soundtrack with the mostly superior mixes from the LP. The vocals are still crystal clear, albeit with a hint of studio echo which I admit takes away some of the location ambience, but the louder instrumentation makes the overall effect of the movie far more powerful.
Great work, I hate how they mixed the audio on the DVD.
I hope they'll remix it for the bluray version.
