The Secret History is absolutely my favorite book also. I'm jealous of your advanced reader's copy...I'm curious to know what the differences are! I've read it several times and there's just something about the writing style. Did you read The Little Friend? Not as great, but still good. I read she's working on a third due out in 2012. A book every 10 years, not bad.

Hey, sweet, The Secret History's my favorite book too. My favorite scene was when they were discussing how, y'know, gorey stuff appeals to people. Beauty is terror and all that jazz.
