I am sorry but i have looked in Sura 5:75 and cant find it. Muslisms believe jesus is a prophet born of a virgin not a messiah

5:75 says The Messiah( or Christ which is the greek for Messiah) son of Mary" right at the start of the verse. The Arabic even says Al Maseeh which is the Arabic for ,messiah. So right there the Quran is saying Jesus was the messiah son of Mary.

Really what Koran are you reading because I can't find it in mine. Dont get me wrong sura 5 talks about jesus but does not say he is the messiah. It does however say he is an important prophet. And last time i checked messiah was a direct translation from the hebrew word Mashiach meaning annointed one not christ.
