Post Cleft Palate Repair Bottle Drinking #2

Elijah's finally figured out how to drink out of a bottle at 18 mos. old! He had his palate repaired at 10 mos. and it's been a very long road to get to here. Over the course of the day yesterday he drank 2 oz., and today he drank 3 1/2 oz. It doesn't seem like very much, but compared to just a few swallows total previously, he's doing tremendously better. When we used to bottle fed him (before he got his button to be tube fed) he would scream and cry the entire duration of every feeding. A feeding would take 35-60 minutes. So this is why the best part is that for the first time in his life he's enjoying eating.
