She won't spend her life in Prison!
Under a transfer agreement, she was moved to a British prison and was able to appeal the sentence down from Life to 18 months.
What's wrong with such a reduction in sentence? Nothing.
If SE-Asia hates drugs so much - Maybe go ahead and prohibit Western nationals from entering your countries at all!
We ALL make mistakes when we're young - Fuck off for being pricks about it...!
Or sue us.
Or ban us and our spending money...

I would never ever want anyone or myself to be imprisoned in any foreign country or continent besides the U.S. The jails are horrific and inhumane compared to American standards ! . . .

@nothavingnoneofit When you create a death penalty for offenses like that, all you do is make the business more lethal to society.
Drug usage is its own punishment.
It appears Laos actually punishes criminals instead of coddling them.

@crash3400 You are right, the Laotion gov. does have their own laws. So did Belgiium when they controlled Rawanda and set Tutsis in one catagory and Hutus in another. And we all know how that ended up. Just because some country has a law, doesn't make it right.
