Chris Cornell's version was original. But David Cook raises that version to a level that Chris never could. Cook's vocal competence is truly rare and virtuous.

Seacrest may have said it before but the judges obviously didn't pay attention. They were drooling over how "original" he is. It doesn't bother me that he covered Chris Cornell. It bothers me that people don't know he covered Chris Cornell and that seemed to be his plan.
