Bought my first record by Ms Stuart in 1972,in Gainesville, Florida. A music store had thee speakers where you could hear them in the parking lot. They were playing Full Time Woman, I went in and ordered it on the spot. The same sweet voice now, as back then. My ex got all my records in the big D. What's the chance of hearing some of the older stuff.
Hello I happened to see a comment about susan tedeschi " Don't forget Alice... Alice Stuart, pretty much blazed the trail for Susan and Bonnie, and Alice is still out there playing... all three ladies definitely raise the bar for their African American female counterparts, who have been conspicuously absent from the blues scene for years. comment about susan tedeschi " I love susan and bonnie and now i shall add to you to that list jt
I hope you come back to the Rockfish!
