In an interview with Christopher Nolan, Nolan said that one day on the set Ledger(Joker) came on set with a skateboard, he did not know who it was until he saw that it was Ledger all dressed up.

Thank you so much for this footage, I myself am a huge fan of The Dark Knight. I have seen the movie about 25 times. I know I have no life but anyways I love watching behind the scenes footage there is just such a massive amount of work that went into making this movie and I wish so much that it almost hurts that I could have been in Chicago when the movie was being filmed, you are very lucky.
