Surviving audio from The Who's Christmas Eve 1965 appearance on the TV show "Ready, Steady, GO!". The second instrumental features one lone vocal from John Entwistle doing his best Lurch the Butler from The Addams Family. Pictures are from various late '65 Who appearances on Ready, Steady, GO!, probably photographed by Dezo Hoffman.

  • It's in Neill and Kent all right. White Fang has it on some Who boots but it wasn't included on either BBC Sessions or the BBC compilation boots. Wonder why?

  • "you rang" is from saturday club - come on Brian!

  • @peudent I'm not seeing any evidence from my sources (Atkins, Kent & Neill) that this came from any of the BBC broadcasts. Gotta date?

  • i'm sure it's mentioned in AAA - a november session i think.

  • I've never heard this before, but I think I'm going to find a way of putting 'you rang; into our set list and see what happens.
