How To Make A Keyblade (Isa's Way)

**UPDATE JANUARY 27TH 2009!!!**
Seriously, people. I just made this video to help my cousin and anyone else out who wanna make a keyblade. You don't have to use this method I'm sure there are plenty out there that are amazing. So stop leaving idiotic comments like "You need to get laid" and "You look like a five dollar Spanish whore". If you have enough time to make stupid remarks such as those, YOU are the one who needs to get a life. STOP WITH THOSE COMMENTS!!! And btw, Thank you for acknowledging the fact that I'm Hispanic. IT took me years and now people are noticing it's true~

So here's how I make a keyblade. This was actually made for my cousin who's cosplaying HalloweenTown Kairi (I'm gonna be Riku) for Metrocon 2009.

This is how I learned to make weapons. I'm sorry I completely suck at explaining this. If this actually helped, please let me know!

It looks really bulky...I think using a wood frame and perhaps gluing a ever so thin layer of styrofoam with a machet  overcoat would be a better idea...

@fastweirdo Momo: the foam can come in different thicknesses. Her's is two inches and the foam I used was a two half inch foam pieces glued together with bonding glue.

and her key blade is really sturdy...so to each his own.

I love you. Just thought id mention that lol this really helped me get started! Also u can use a scroll saw for cutting it out it worked really well for me. Also i found out that the material is called foamulator, an insulator foam at home depot. Thx again!!!
