  • do you know whats the FSP of Matrix PDI Type 130%? I plan to put it in my ICS mp5 stock internals...

  • Why are you asking about a PDI spring? This review has nothing to do with a spring? Maybe you should ask in a web board like evike's?

  • doesn't work..it screws up your piston b/c it widens it so it makes more of an air leak..plus, your air nozzle actually MOVES

  • It does work. You see in the video of the chrono, I got about a 30fps increase. Teflon is one of the most low friction compounds in the world which helps reduce friction of moving parts. But teflon tape is not durable as a lubricant. Which is why I warn at the end of the video, you will need to reapply as it wears out.

  • @MoondogIndustries that video seems like its the same as the air nozzle one.. but um..i'm pretty sure i busted my air nozzle since it slips on and off really easily

  • I show the nozzle in the video because that's what I recommend for air sealing (that was installed on a Tavor) but I did the teflon mod on a different gearbox (V3 JG gearbox). Everything wears out. Tip: Don't wrap too much teflon tape. 1 layer makes a good seal. 2 or more layers causes leaks.

  • I'm skeptical of this.. remember the nozzle constantly moves back and forth over the nozzle of the cylinder head. It is very likely that the teflon tape would be become dislodged and gum up, possibly leading to a broken tappet plate. Spend the 5$ and get an airseal nozzle with some good silicone grease!

  • @donosclone first thing, clean the barrel PROPPERLY, can really effect it, second, remove the inner barrel and hop unit, turn the hop to nothing and check that barrel is circular and doesnt have a hop up dimple pretruding, once done, and if none work, use (asuming your currently using a 11.1v) a 7.4 to check, as i have seen cases of the gears spinning faster than the piston is able to return, therefore it wont cycle fully. if still not working let me know :)

  • Just spend the extra 5-10$ for a single or double oring air nozzle lol. And yeah too tight a fit and you run the risk of your tapper plate snapping, just get an orange air nozzle and grease your cylinder head and youll be in awesome shape, that's what I did and I'm almost at 500 fps with .25s on an m140.

  • i installed a m4 gaurder air seal nozzle and a m120 spring upgraded the piston head o-ring with a size 14 and have a good air seal, the gun is still shooting 250FPS lipo battery, im thinking its the hopup not sure any ideas?

  • Oh, thanks for video. I'm too use the "Teflon mod" and it WORK!

  • this doesnt work. It still 300fps. :(

  • whats the name of the diice your testing the fps with??

  • I found super heavy gear grease spread on the cylinder head tube works even better than Teflon tape and o ring nozzles

  • i did the tefflon mod thx for help and my gun went from a crapy 220fps right up to 370+ so thx man im gona invest in some air nozles next thow

  • @EAGLE1SPAS oh and by the way thats a great way to brake a tappet plate do to the nozzle being so tightly fitted it cant perform right!
