Sandbox Skull - Easy way to get it

Instructions & Help:

1. Go into forge mode and spawn a trip mine.

2. In the trip mine's summary settings, set the run-time minimum to the same as the run-time maximum so the trip mine respawns instantly.

3. Elevate yourself from the ground by standing on a ledge and continuously drop trip mines into a pile below you until the floor grid disappears.
(If the trip mines explode and the floor grid does not disappear, just try again)

Now the guardians will not attack you.

The skull is located to the right of the sun and the tower.

Btw, this is patched.. i tried it yesterday while getting the mythic skulls with my buds, its patched.

@TheSoulpaw this is not patched... there has not been a halo 3 patch in over 2 years. you simply did it wrong.

Or what about going into edit mode and spawning a wall and fly backward with the wall facing toward the guardian then when you reach the skull, place the wall to still act as a shield, exit edit mod, and pick the skull up. Would that work?

@TheBloodbanshee not a wall because there are 4 guardian towers on all 4 corners of the map so your pretty much surrounded.. but ive heard that people do a similar idea to yours but with a tunnel

i did it untill the platform he was(and i was) standing on disappeared from overload then it worked

dude i got it not doing what you did i just got a hornet and you have to hold it just sell all the things on the map not the hornet stay on the sand but don't touch it go slowly very slowly if they attack you then try it again

it got patched on xbox 360 u can only throw a sertent amount on it
