I don't think people of western nations want Iran to be like them; they want Iran to have the freedom to choose its own destiny; whatever that may be. Giving Iran freedom doesn't mean it will be then 'Americanized' - I just can't see it happening; it's culture is too rich to allow it to happen. I only wish the people of Iran the best.
