Many people get stuck in their youth when it comes to music. The first rap I liked enough to buy was Snoop Dog Doggy Style, Dr Dre The Chronic, Eazy E Eazy Duz It, Too Short Cocktails, Ice Cube Amerikas Most Wanted, Warren G Regulate GFE to name a few. I listen to a lot of current stuff, while I feel nostalgic listening to old stuff occasionally most of the more current rap I listen to I would rank above my old school favorites. There is lots of shit rap, but that's always been the case.

So, no 90's rap songs by Tupac ever made it on the radio? Or yo MTV raps? Music has been "wussified" and radio friendly since the invention of the radio my friend. "Artistis" as they call themselves don't make money unless they go mainstream. Why do you think every 15 year black kid on youtube begs people to go on to his myspace or youtube page and listen to him? LoL it's the same with every genre of music, the "life cycle" of an artist that is...
