  • It was fairly convenient for Metra. WSOR has track usage on the Fox Lake to Rondout . They pick up CP track usage from Rondout to Chicago and on the return. I'm sure there will be a nice little profit for WSOR.

  • Thanks. I have a widescreeen version with audio preamble coming out in the next few minutes.

  • Awesome footage! I love hearing those SD40-2's notch up so fast!

  • wow how did the wsor 4002 couple up to the metra 421, those engines are garbage the F40ph and F40C are built way better

  • @fuzzypeach777 I dunno, WSOR had a pretty short train, so unless they had a lot of ethanol, it probably was not a big problem to keep the slack down.

  • Yeah, one little run in or out of slack to throw passengers down, and that would have been a trainload of millionaires.

    Really bad idea.

  • It's just payback for the times Metra has had to push the WSOR towards Fox Lake.

  • That is how the railroads should work, together!

  • The dredded 421 breaking down again
