ARAI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! period
-
It comes in several other patterns and colors
-
i use an old shoei now, but my next helmet will probably be a icon, even though are hard to get here in romania. also like the gloves from them but i wouldn't trade them for my alpinestars...

Problems like that can happen with any brand. I've had more problems with Arai helmets than any other, and they consistently get the top JD Power ratings, so go figure.

"very high quality gear?"
what about the shield popping off one of the icon helmets while riding that i read on the website? that doesn't sound like high quality.

It's hard to say... The only thing we as consumers can go by is whether or not the helmet meets the standards.
We have to then assume that any helmet that meets those standards, no matter the brand, will protect us.
That said, I do stick with "name brand" helmets because I feel they'd have more to lose if they cheated the system.
Icon makes very high quality gear so I have no fears about their helmets protecting me.
Hey guys , what do you think about this graphics ? it look like something terrible and horrible i mean i don´t feel like wear beast graphics in my head , and what your opinion about it ?

@lucassilvamelo1987 Looks good to me! Not sure if they still make this one though, the review was from 2008.

I notice that the '09 airframe helmets are listed as being Snell approved. but the first edition is listed as meeting or exceeding DOT standards. could anyone tell me if the original airframe model is also Snell approved, and if there's even any difference between the airframe and airframe 2009?

The full webBikeWorld review of the Airframe helmet has the specifications and listing of the safety standards that the Airframe met at the time of the review (2008).
