I'm a little confused.. an Non-profit organization that helps get OUR snipers get what they need that they can't normal get..from our own Government?...What is that all about...They don't have access to the best weapons, gear in the U.S at their finger tips?.... multi-million dollar Jets and we don't have what OUR snipers need? ....someone explain this please. Are they saying they provide top secret gear that civilians don't need to know they have?..just wondering cause that just seemed odd.

@PapaTango69American snipers, their families and friends, often spend thousands of dollars to procure the gear and equipment they need.
This gear is necessary but expensive and it is often different than that required of other soldiers.
Therefore, the gear is either not provided by the sniper's unit at all; or although it is better to suited to the sniper's mission, the fact is not recognized by commanders who have never been to sniper school and the sniper's requests often fall on deafears.
