Days of Wonder has remade Vinci into a lighter battle game called Small World. In this game, players take on races of fantasy characters on a land that is too small for them and wacky battles ensue!

Regarding the comment in the very beggining about the unwanted event of losing one of the game race tokens, it would be great if board game companies had a mail delivery system that allowed you to buy small sets of replacement tokens.
