This Eclipse video cycles 5 times in about 53 sec. to show the eclipse shadow across the Earth. ===== What you would see of the Eclipse from space... looking toward Earth, ==== Starting with the shadow of the moon on the left lower part of the Earth, then following a path which travels over Easter Island and ending at the lower part of South America. ====




This is the Easter Island total solar eclipse ( 7-11-2010 PM-PM EST-US) as seen from the Dish Network satellite. ====




The video file was captured from The Dish Network satellite in a geostationary orbit 22 thousand miles above the earth. The actual time (EST) is seen at lower area of the screen ====




Total clip run time is abt 1 min. (equals 3 hrs).
