can you explain the soil you use? do you mix it with a peat moss? I had a hard time keeping it sticking together in a nice ball. I did give it enough water, plenty, but that didn't seem to help.

You didn't really explain the other steps, but I got the idea from watching it.

lovely idea!...how about dangling a length of string from the ball into a bowl of water so that it acts like a wick and draws water up into the plant...think that would work?....by the way, love your aussie accents...makes me want to move to ozz, but you don't let poms in anymore do ya!...can't say i blame you

@ganderblast hi! Glad to hear you enjoyed our video. We are always trying to find and share new things about plants! The wick idea to draw water up into the plant sounds like a great one, let me know how that one goes!

@charlottebarlowco the soil on the rootball needs to be damp, as so does the Sphagnum Moss. You don't add peat moss. You line the container/bowl with the strings first then the Sphagnum Moss. Place the rootball into the bowl and wrap the Sphagnum Moss up around it, followed by the strings. Have two people to help stabilize it and tie the strings up.
