Q: can i use this on 5.0.0?
A: No, update to 5.0.1

Q: when is iPhone 4S or iPad 2 jailbreak coming? why is it taking so long?

A: Don't worry about updating your baseband unless you are relaying your phone's service on ultrasn0w or geveysim at the moment.

A: You can't at the moment, that's why it's important you don't update it ONLY if you relay on it. Most people are already on a high baseband so there is no point of preserving it.

A: calm down! be patient and if it doesn't work out, try another USB slot or try another computer. If your phone is frozen or in a boot loop all you have to do is ENTER DFU again, then restore to iOS 5.0.1 again. Your phone can't brick from jailbreaking unless you throw it on the ground of frustration.

when it says "waiting for reboot" my ipod just turns on and redsnow does nothing..please help! i've been trying to jailbreak my ipod since i got 5.0 and not one jailbreak worked for me :(

How to enter DFU mode

a. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds

b. Continue holding the power button and start holding the home button and continue HOLDING BOTH for 10 seconds

c. Let go of power button once the phone shuts down and continue holding home button for 15-20 seconds

@Tuckerweemsmusic yeah i did i just held down the power button and the home button for a while and the apple sign was there and everything was fine. Then i went back and did the jailbreak again and it worked fine.
