@criskity Because the South wants to maintain an agressive frightening stature against the north. Flinching, Blinking, talking, to the north means peaceful and they don't want that.

Tourists on the north are allowed to point and wave, have no dress code restrictions, and can consume alcohol beforehand. Ironic, seeing that the south is a free country and the north is a repressive dictatorship.

I would hate to have to handle these dumb tourists to the DMZ, they have to be told over and over again, don't point, don't wave still they do this?....it's a rule period! Yet people are disrespectful and do what they want anyways....bunch of children so annoying.
