DAMNATION ALLEY 3: Steampunk avant la lettre.

In this little clip we can see a glimpse of the future technological wonders. A mini-computer keypad which ressembles suspiciusly similar to any standard grocery calculating machine.
Peppard was surely mumbling: "Two pounds of tomatoes, half a gallon of water, three cabbages... It's 35$, Jean-Michel! Will U pay with cash or with plastic?"

Given the fact that the studio produced this film to counterbalance the awaited box-office failure of another sci-fi film, called... "Star Wars", I think that DAMNATION ALLEY shows lack of talent rather than of money.

That says texas Instruments doesn't it? Lol, yep, sometimes the budgets for these movies didn't stretch that far, although this is a goodish movie though.
