Thank you so much! I had put away the pendulum out of frustration. You pointed out in the first 5 minutes what I was doing wrong: Too much string length, forcing elbow down on table to the point of being uncomfortable, not giving the pendulum the initial movement! The way this works is the subconscious mind knows the answer and conveys that answer by causing the practitioner to make small unconscious movements to convey to the conscious mind the answer. In other words, the pendulum acts as a bridge from the unconscious to the conscious mind.

when dowsing using a pendulam or rods,is it your spirit guide that answers you?

and isn't a ouija board a form of dowsing?

if it is and since ouija boards are a "door opener" wouldn't a pendulam and rods also be concidered a "door opener" allowing you to communicate with desirable and undesirable forces?

@DawnsWindow217 Try a very heavy plumb-bob. First it starts to wiggle, then it just takes off and swings on its own.

@officernarc Just so you know "officer", it does work, and French priest was the master of it, in 1935. I have a very heavy, large steel plumb-bob, and it moves on its own, with no help from me. I have a piece of brass, and a piece of alum., when I switch form one metal to the other, it pulls violently on it, and feels like magnets, I also just tried to stop it, make it go forward, and backwards. In search mode, it swigs by itself. No man can hide from the plum-bob, that is for sure.

Dowsing has NEVER been proven effective. Way to answer your own questions. Surely this guy must know that he is manipulating the pendulum to his whims

I have the same problem. I can't accept a yes or a no answer since the sign for yes or no seems to change from moment to moment.
