i dont agree with the person above, i think each to there own when making something, you wouldnt tell you gran how to suck eggs just because she chose to do it her own way..as for the black not being festive...thats down to taste,,i know 3 women who do black and silver decor every yr for xmas and would adore this, its sooo chic and classy... if an artists chooses to use her supplies excessively then what does it matter, its her money and her supplies.

do you mean the little thing i wipe across the paper? that is an anti static bag, if you wipe the paper with it it stops the embossing powder from sticking to the paper so it only sticks to the ink. hope this helps. Vicki

Hi Vicki, I really like this card and stamp technique. Could you tell me were I could get this stamp from. I have looked everywhere that I could think of but not able to locate it. Thank you, Jules

Seems to me you could have save a lot of time, paper and embossing powder by just doing one full tree and then all the tree parts you needed.Seems a shame to waste all of that stuff. And the excessive dimensional tape. And why black? Not very festive. But thanks for sharing.

I have never ever made a card and really want to. At first i thought i would not be able to since i thought it required drawing. Now that i see it's all about the right equipment i know i can do it. For someone who never made a card what do you recommend me to buy to start off. I plan on making a Christmas card for next year. Can you give me names of the things i would need...thanks!

Hi Vicki, just started making cards and was looking for some ideas and found you. Love this card but haven't got into the embossing thing yet. Supplies are pricey. Anyway, I will subscribe and hope to see some more of your cards, tfs, Sandra in Canada.

I love the card and I love the video. I've been watching card-making videos for a couple of weeks and this is by far the best. Increasing the speed is a very clever idea and the music suits the speed. In many of the videos I've watched the craftsperson has either rambled or worked off camera, and often their background music became foreground music over their instructions. You did a really good job of the video...and the card is beautiful.
